1, What's new
 +) Supports Vista boot loader
+) New command 'memdisk', can run floppy/hdd image file with isolinux/memdisk by H. Peter Anvin
+) Option to allow lowercase in filenames on making an ISO image
*) Improved large floppy image support (run)

2, Download site
  http://www.ezbsystems.com/easyboot/download.htm

3, Additional information
 - Adding Windows Vista to your bootable DVD
Copy folder "BOOT", "EFI", and "SOURCES" from root directory of Vista setup DVD to "C:\easyboot\disk1"
Copy file "BOOTMGR" (and "BOOTMGR.EFI" if exist) from root directory of Vista setup DVD to "C:\easyboot\disk1"
use command 'run vistaldr.bin' to load it

 - Emulating floppy/hdd image in memory
use command 'memdisk' , works just like 'run'. For example:
 'memdisk setup98.img'
Note: HDD image is supported, and the disk emulated is writable

you can use the command bcdw

Ex:
bcdw /ezboot/diskimages/dell9506.iso

or for emulation:
bcdw /ezboot/isolinux.bin /ezboot/memdisk initrd=/ezboot/diskimages/pcdoctor.img

so if you need to emulate a disk you need the isolinux bin file and the memdisk file in your ezboot forlder and reference them like I did above and finally call your img or iso file in the initrd tag.

as you can tell I keep my images in another folder called diskimages because I have over 30 iso's and img files I boot from. this keeps them seperate from my menu's and the pictures I use in my menus.

This should get you started, at least you can search the forums with the information I just gave you since I don't get on here often, only when I'm updating my disk which is now 3 years in the making.

bosspakman, this is a problem with BCDW and some machines, I suggest trying to find another method for starting your iso's. Try using "run" instead of "bcdw" in your command, however if your iso's require write access that will not work either, in which case I suggest searching the forum back "to the beginning" since many answers were found back in 05-06 time frame.

@fardeep

Welcome to this forum @fardeep :)

To make Win7 to launch setup do as following:

1. Copy everything from inside of Win7-ISO to EasyBoot\disk1
2. In EasyBoot menu use command:  run Vistaldr.bin
3. Check that you have file Vistaldr.bin in folder ezboot

When creating ISO in EasyBoot, don’t check DOS(8:3), and don’t check “Allow Lower Case” :O

Note: For the record - DOS is not used when launching Vista or Win7 :;):
