What is the best practice for creating a bootable cdrom to use as a utility disk to flash bios, controller firmware etc?

I have no straight answer but some interesting links to look into...

A lot of interesting links in this post HERE

Note: EasyBoot can easily launch any floppy image (***.img or ***.ima)
You can also modify 'autoexec.bat' to directly execute bios-file in floppy image to flash BIOS
(avoiding the need to use the 'DOS-Prompt' at all)

However, EasyBoot is a 'BOOT-Manager' and not any 'BIOS-flash-utility', but can most likely still be used as the 'manager' to execute the flash-process to BIOS launched from floppy image file (at least from my point of view) :)
