When EasyBoot set up its files and folders some important 'core-files' that is installed to folder EZBOOT is the old ones, and using files in folder 'resource' solves this problem So go ahead and overwrite existing 'old files' in folder EZBOOT

He, he you have to trust me - I know what I'm talking about

OK. got it. Anyway, updating the files did not help... I finally got everything working from usb. All I need is a working and good antivirus rescue disk.. BTW Kaspersky rescue did not work either... I really don't know why non of the iso's based on linux wont boot from exboot anymore..
Do you know a good AV rescue disk that is nit based on linux? It seems like all rescue disks are linux based...
thanks

Yes you are correct. Earlier kaspersky did work correct using one method for CD\DVD-unit and practise a different method if run from USB. But latest release do not work from USB anymore (though it should work from USB, according to instructions from kaspersky)
I still find it hard to understand why you having these problems with bitdefender or similar software
Could you please test this linux application just for fun to see if there is some for me unknown 'hardware' issue that might create strange problems to us? Read and test post nr;6 HERE

Well to be honest, it's people like you that give me hints to nice software - so in this field(s) - I completely trust you and other members in this matters, what you like to integrate into your EasyBoot build I still don't understand what your problem is

Basically... We are running out of options here
There shouldn't be any problem to launch bitdefender from EasyBoot Note: bitdefender is based on UBUNTU, which is a very stable platform
What version of Easyboot do you run Recommended is to install latest version (V_6.5.3.729) in combination with UltraIso_v_9.3.5.2716 or later release
I suggest you reinstall EasyBoot (overwrite 'core' in EasyBoot) Note: nothing gets destroyed during reinstallation of EasyBoot
Then test my tutorial in post nr;2 one more time
