Hi

I want to add to my multiboot usb a simple DOS prompt boot which will be able to access the usb root (files/folders I place inside disk1), so I can use this dos to launch dos based tools for updating graphic card ans motherboard bios

Any idea how to do this? (I know how to create a bootable usb that boots into DOS.. Can I capture the usb image and kick start it from ezboot menu?

Thanks

Most likely not

Updating BIOS is normally done from a floppy station (1,44 MB floppy) :O
However I think you can create a floppy image of that BIOS update and simply launch image from easyboot menu (run ***.ima)

Download of such floppy image is most likely possible as well from your motherboard manufacturer :;):
However you can – if already having floppy unit and a working floppy with BIOS files - use EasyBoot>>Tools>>Make Floppy Image to create floppy image (but you need a floppy unit of course and floppy with BIOS files)
Copy floppy image to folder EZBOOT and use menu command:  run ***.ima  (or run ***.img)

Beside of above, you can ‘Burn’ build of EasyBoot to USB as usual and launch floppy image (BIOS floppy image) from menu of Easyboot as usual :)

Note. I’m a stage of moving from my house to an apartment (with nice sea views), and cannot do much from any computer (for the moment living out of a suitcase)
I’ll be in good shape in less of 10 days (hopefully)

Thanks. OK I will search online for a dos based floppy image ***.ima. So to boot it I need the run **.ima command right? and I guess I'll be able to access the root of the ezboot usb drive from the dos prompt

Good luck with your new apartment!
