hello balder ,

Now more and more bootable WinPE becomes UEFI supported , as we can see the new notebook or ultrabook are already UEFI boot only with "Secure Boot On" with no switchable
It means you can't switch it back to UEFI/SATA boot. You definitely have to boot it by any UEFI media.

What I'm thinking is ... if Easyboot do not support multi-UEFI boot , that means we have to return to multi CD/DVD for repairing a computer age.

Before knowing EasyBoot , before knowing you , I've more than 10 CD/DVD for repairing computers. Very inconvenient and burdening , but you taught me a lot on EasyBoot and now I can even made them on USB harddisk and stick. Thanks again balder.

Now again return to the stone age , I've to keep seperate CD/DVD for like ... UEFI Win8PE , AOMEI Partition Assistant 5.2 (UEFI boot supported) , etc.

You know , to the UEFI with Secure Boot On notebooks , they don't even support EasyBoot boot. It's meaningless to place an EasyBoot DVD / USB device to boot up such kind of new computers.

So what can I do , continue to keep seperate disc and no usb device ? Of course it's not your matter , it's EasyBoot.

Please help. Thanks

I'll say: "Right on the nail" so to speaking :;):

I cannot do anything at present time to these problems :(
Note: we also have some problems with 'oversized' DVD;s as EasyBoot doesn't offer full support to the UDF file system :(

However, I'm pretty sure the develop team of Easyboot have some suggestions in the 'back pocket'
Time will tell....  ???

hello balder ,

You're right , so let time to go and see what new EasyBoot version will offer.

In the mean time , I may try to find another equivalent bootmenu software. But I know it's not easy or so flexible as EasyBoot.

Have you an idea to buy a new UEFI motherboard ? I think may be many other forum mate are wait for you

Thanks blader.

He, he you may have a point there :D

The 'UEFI motherboard' issue... Well my youngest son do have a computer that I think can switch between 'standard BIOS' and UEFI boot functionality (I'm not 100% sure but I think this is the case) ???

As soon as possible I'll 'grab' that computer, as He no longer have any use of that one (my son is in the movie\commercial business and must upgrade computer capacity every half-year)
He, he and I get the 'old ones' for free - he, he, he....

However I still do not have that last computer in my position (its more than 500 Km between us and I refuse to receive it by mail)
Nowadays kids move around over the whole world - in my days I didn't move more than to the 'bridge' that separated my small hometown city from the 'real world' - but that was those days :p

regards balder
