@john57

Welcome to EasyBoot @john57 :)

Quote: "I have four items below the flash memory"

The 'Win8' case...

1. Copy folders and files (or extract from ISO-file) to folder disk1 in EasyBoot

2. In EasyBoot menu use menu command:  run \bootmgr
-------------------------

The 'active boot disk case'...
Note: I assume this is active boot disk-5 or later release (active5 is based on Win7 or later) and that you have a ISO-file of this active boot disk ???
Note2: there are more than one 'active boot disk' (the name 'active boot disk' is used to a lot of different distro's including linux-based active boot disks)

1. Copy ISO-file of active boot disk to folder EZBOOT

2. EasyBoot menu use menu command:  run active5.iso  (or whatever name you use to ISO-file)
------------------------

The 'repair win8' case...

Read HERE

-------------------------

The kasperasky rescuse case...
Her we have some problems. Earlier releases of kaspersky could be run from USB flash but latest release seems to not be that cooperative anymore :(
Read earlier solution in post nr;4 HERE

I cannot - at present time - find any better solution to the latest release of kaspersky.
Try only kaspersky and see if that one works (temporarily skip Win8 and active boot disk to speed up your testing of solution)

EDIT:
I did test my own tutorial for kaspersky from USB - and to my surprise it worked okay :D
Note: you must test kaspersky in 'reality' (boot computer from USB drive and launch kaspersky).
You cannot run a test in some 'simulator'
I also did a fresh download of kaspersky ISO (latest release)

Only tick 'Joliet' in 'options' when creating ISO in EasyBoot
Further more... Install latest release of EasyBoot and same to UltraISO

Hi
Each of these four items separately as well. My first steps into Windows 8 completely, but when I do I want the files to a folder on disk with active boot disk 1, I get an error. Because some Windows files are the same file. Kindly guide in this regard.
How active boot disk suite 7.2 files to disk 1, I would add that the

I repeate:

1. Copy ISO-file of active boot disk to folder EZBOOT

2. EasyBoot menu use menu command:  run active5.iso  (or whatever name you use to ISO-file)

Note: active boot disk suite 7.2 is basically a WinPE, built from a source off an NT6-system (Vista\Win7\Win8 or server-2008 is typically NT6-systems) :O

EDIT:
I found 'active-boot-disk-7' and installed it to my system (I currently run Win7_sp1)
I launched active-boot-disk and chose to create ISO
I created ISO in folder EZBOOT with the name 'ActiveBootDisk.ISO'
And as expected active-boot-disk is based from an source of a NT6-system (most likely Win7_sp1 or similar)

In EasyBoot I used menu command:  run ActiveBootDisk.ISO

But then you run into trouble as active-boot-disk is looking for the 'BOOTDISK.KEY' (name and license information)
Active-boot-disk is unable to find and confirm the vital 'BOOTDISK.KEY' as this file 'BOOTDISK.KEY' is inside ISO.
This can easily be solved by extract the vital 'BOOTDISK.KEY' from inside of ActiveBootDisk.ISO-file to folder disk1 in EasyBoot (folder disk1 is the 'root' in EasyBoot if you wonder)

So in folder 'disk1' you now at least have a folder EZBOOT and a file BOOTDISK.KEY

Only tick 'Joliet' in 'options' when creating ISO in EasyBoot
Further more... Install latest release of EasyBoot and same to UltraISO

Create ISO and finally in EasyBoot use 'Burn>Write USB Disk...'
This works

Hi
In both the image file (Active Boot Disk + Windows 8) is the source folder. Extract the folder on Disk 1 error message is issued. What can be done to solve this problem?

The program could I use WinBuilder. Because bcdboot error while running the notepad file is created and the program will stop.

Thanks

At this point you have no use of my scripts - instead create ISO-file using ActiveBootDisk-creator (chose to create ISO and put ISO into folder EZBOOT)

Quote: "Extract the folder on Disk 1 error message is issued"

Well I never told you to extract anything from ISO-file of ActiveBootDisk
I told you to launch ActiveBootDisk-creator and chose to create ISO-file of ActiveBootDisk and to put this ISO-file into folder EZBOOT
And in EasyBoot menu use menu command:  run activebootdisk.iso  (or whatever name you use to ISO-file)

Attention! The latest releases of EasyBoot have capacity to directly launch ISO-files as they are - and ActiveBootDisk.iso is such ISO-file that EasyBoot can launch without extracting folder 'sources' to folder disk1
I repeat YOU DON'T need folders and files related to ActiveBootDisk as we can use ISO-file

I repeat from post nr; 5

This works

Extra EDIT...
I created a 'flash-movie' to help you along...
Download zip-file ActiveBoot.zip from HERE
Extract zip-file to C:
Open extracted folder ActiveBoot and double-click to file 'activeboot.html'
Note: you must have 'flash-player' installed to your computer (which you most likely to 99% already have - flash-player is used all over the webb)
You can now follow all steps how to integrate ActiveBootDisk.ISO into EasyBoot

Hi
Active boot disk was successfully carried out the flash training. Well Repair disc Windows 8 32 - bit also successfully implemented. However, when running Windows 8 and kav_rescue_10 encountered an error. Please if you are training for me to put two flash files.
Comments menu in Windows 8, the run / bootmgr Copy and paste the commands you got. Is it necessary to put a forward slash?

Yes this was expected

What error related to Win8 do you get when using menu command:  run \bootmgr ???
Because Win8 shouldn't be any problem to integrate into EasyBoot

About issue with kaspersky...
Note: I already in post nr;2  very clearly wrote - and I quote: "Earlier releases of kaspersky could be run from USB flash but latest release seems to not be that cooperative anymore"
This means - no guaranties it works for kaspersky from USB flash drive :O

Quote: "Comments menu in Windows 8, the run / bootmgr Copy and paste the commands you got. Is it necessary to put a forward slash"
Yes, but do not put in a space between / and text bootmgr - it should look like this  run \bootmgr
However if you also have file bootmgr in folder EZBOOT you can simply use menu command:  run bootmgr

Quote: " if you are training for me to put two flash files"
I don't understand what you mean ???

Yes I do understand your frustration - but as told before - quote: "Earlier releases of kaspersky could be run from USB flash but latest release seems to not be that cooperative anymore"...

I guess we are stuck here regarding kaspersky - not much I can do :(
Note: to integrate and run kaspersky from CD\DVD-unit is no problem but from USB drive seems to be a problem
The problem is NOT related to EasyBoot, it is related to how kaspersky acts when launched from USB drive!

Quote: "Windows 8 to step forward and stops loading files."
This is strange behaviour by Win8 - it is a mystery ???
What method did you perform to test your final build
Did you test in 'reality' (reboot computer and run setup from EasyBoot menu on USB flash drive)?
Or did you some test from some 'virtual environment'?

You could test using my script 'usb-nt6-setup.script'
Test this:

1. Use a USB flash disk (8 GB in size recommend to use)

2. Make sure you don't have spaces in paths and names to folders
(push to 'help-button' in script)

Note: This is only to test that your source of Win8 is working from USB in an correct way
Report back what happens :O
