Hi,

I'm aiming to have a cd which can boot xp and run the dos gui of partitionmagic and the diagnostic tools on a windows 98 startup disc, how do i do this? My first attempt went wrong and i thought i'd come to you guys  :D

For XP, please see help file - it comes with EasyBoot.
For PQMagic, please create a floppy disk which can boot your PC and run PQ in autoexec.bat, then make a image and use in menu command.
You cannot run Win98-based tools by EasyBoot, anyway.

Cheers, i did the partition magic boot discs and mage an image from them in my first attempt and tryed to run it from the commmand

ie [   run pqimage.img   ]

This did not work, i'm not sure what you mean about the autoexec.bat which one and where? there is an autoexe2.bat on the PQ boot disc is this what you mean?
