@Asenk

As you are a new member I say welcome @Asenk :)

This means - setup is having problems communicating with your CD/DVD-ROM :(
I can also be caused by how you created ISO and what source you used (folder i386).

Have you run N’light to source (WindowsXP-files) – or have you modified source-files in some way ???

Question is how you run “updatepack” to original source?
Test using a “clean source” – it’s fairly quickly done.
If that run okay – I suggest you should look over how you did that “update” and perhaps even take a look on those “addons” as well.

You have a separate button for integrating Hiren’s BOOT-CD.

Note: This “Hiren-button” is a separate option - and script doesn’t use "Set name to ISO here" when using this option. You can leave text-box blank or whatever for Hiren’s BOOT-CD.
However script is asking for location (path) of the Hiren’s ISO-file during process.
It works like this:
1. You push “Integrate Hiren's BOOT-CD”
2. Script asks for the location (path) to Hiren’s ISO-file – you scroll to ISO-file and double-click to ISO-file.
3. Script starts with creating a folder “hbcd” in EasyBoot\disk1 directory followed by extracting files from ISO-files to folder hbcd.
4. Script continue with creating a Grub-“kicker-image” and put “kicker-image” in folder ezboot
5. Script run uppercase to all files and folder names inside EasyBoot\disk1. Note: you can avoid this if checking: “Do not run uppercase to file and folder names” – however in normal case you are advised to run uppercase (you will understand later when and why you need uppercase to files and folder names).
6. Script tells you finally what menu command to be used in EasyBoot and further more what settings you must use when creating ISO-file in EasyBoot.
Voila – finished

Note: Integrate Hiren’s boot-CD as the last operation. Start with making “n-in-1 xp” and then Hiren. If files and folder names isn’t uppercased when having Hiren onboard – setup of WinXP fails (this is the case as you must check “Allow lower case” when integrating Hiren).
I know it looks complicated – but don’t worry - script takes care it for you :;):

Attention! It’s very important that name to ISO-files doesn’t have spaces in name :O
You cannot use this name for example: “Hiren boot cd.ISO”.
Instead use “Hirens_boot_cd.ISO” or similar!
You cannot use your desktop as folder. Desktop is a sub-folder to “Documents and Settings” and in “Documents and Settings” you again have spaces in name to folder – not good.
Please, put (copy) ISO-files to a folder on the root (C:) and no spaces in that folder name.
Use a folder name like:  “my_iso-files” or similar (no spaces in names) – but hopefully you have already read this important notes in “READ_ME.HTML-document or didn’t you :;):
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
For making “n-in-1 xp” – I suggest you test using a “clean source” – it’s fairly quickly done.

You are not alone :;):  – I consider myself too be a “nubie” as I’m keep on learning something new each day – it’s a part of our life :)

Quote: ” i have integrated hiren but there's no folder hbcd in EasyBoot\disk1 directory”
No you have not :O As folder hbcd isn't created in the right way - and not filled with files from Hiren ISO-file :O

Take attention to that you must check path to where Easyboot is installed – you have a separate "Where is EasyBoot installed? Scroll and open folder EasyBoot" – and further more: "If  “C:\EasyBoot” already is the right path you don't need to scroll or do anything!"

Quote: “what is the command to run hiren in easyboot?”
It is given by script in the end of the process
However – if script fails to extract files to a folder hbcd – there is no point to set any menu command in Easyboot

My questions is:
1. Where have you Hiren ISO-file (what location)?
2. What name do you use to Hiren ISO-file?
3. Where is folder “EasyBoot” (installation-path)

@Asenk

I’m wondering if you run Vista or Win-7 as you have problems with scripts?
However I can easily run my scripts on such systems (after removing all those stupid security latches in these systems that stop scripts from running smooth – use WinXP if possible – scripts work great in XP)

Anyway…
Test this:

1. Extract from Hiren’s ISO-file folder HBCD to EasyBoot\disk1 (Note: it’s important that folder HBCD is uppercased – use UltraIso to extract folder HBCD. UltraIso is very reliable to use)
2. Use menu command in EasyBoot.  bcdw /hbcd/isolinux.bin
3. You don’t need to check “Joliet” or “Allow lower case”, when creating ISO in EasyBoot.

Using above method it doesn’t make any difference in what steps you integrate WinXP as no “uppercase” is done to letters :;):
