This is a well known fact You cannot use 'Hide Boot Partition' in EasyBoot as 'core files' then cannot be found by the system (linux, ubuntu or whatever). Same goes for Hiren as example
Never use option 'Hide Boot Partition' if you must have 'core files' put on the 'root' - which is the same as the 'Boot Partition' Further more - Clonezilla is a typical example on this where we practice 'frugal solution' (core files extracted to the root)
