Hi.
I download new Eset, Kaspersky and Avira. then want to run them with easyboot. but old ways don't work on new version.

From where do you launch these programs - from CD\DVD-unit or from USB drive

EDIT:
I downloaded kaspersky (free edition) from HERE
Used this method to run kaspersky from CD\DVD-unit
Attention! Method can NOT be used to USB drive
1. Open Kaspersky.iso-file (I used UltraIso)
2. Extract folder 'rescue' and file 'livecd' to foilder 'disk1' in EasyBoot
Note: folder 'disk1' is the 'root' in EasyBoot in case you have forgott
3. Still having ISO opened in UltraIso you delete folder 'rescue' and file' livecd' from inside of ISO-file!
4. Now choose in UltraIso to 'Save As' (File>>Save As...) and save reduced ISO to folder 'disk1' using name KASPERSKY10.ISO (Attention! make sure you use uppercase to ALL letters including .ISO so the name must be exactly KASPERSKY10.ISO and not KASPERSKY10.iso
5. Download my 'kicker-image' from HERE and put floppy image to folder EZBOOT
6. Use menu command in EasyBoot menu: run kaspersky10.img
7. Tick 'Joliet' when creating ISO in EasyBoot
Above works from CD\DVD-unit but NOT from USB drive

Also want to inform you that I'm taking a 'road trip' the next two weeks (he, he hopefully without getting lost)
During these two weeks, I can only sporadically participate in this forum
Also having problems to locating correct downloads (especially Avira and Eset)
Seems there are two different Eset
One Eset based on NT6-system (Vista or Win7 or Win8 which all are typically NT6-systems, compare with WinXPwhich is a NT5-based system)
Another Eset based on Linux distro (which is an totally different isssue to deal with  )

Sure
It’s a simple task to create these ‘kicker-images’
These ‘kicker-images’ is based on grub boot loader and the boot record in these floppy images is therefore grub and not DOS!
Floppy images also have two files inside: file ‘grldr’ (grub boot loader) and a simple text-file ‘menu.lst’ that holds the ‘command line’ what grub shall do (execute)
All we do is editing this simple text-file (use notepad)
However you must always extract ‘menu.lst’ from floppy file (use UltraIso to this) and edit menu.lst followed by inserting back menu.lst to floppy image (overwriting existing menu.lst inside floppy image). I always use Ultraiso to the whole operation.
Grub have capacity to do a lot of things, including directly launch ISO-files.
Note: there is no such thing as a ‘free lunch’ meaning not all ISO-files can be launched and getting to work this simple way. Some ISO-files refuses to work fully out (especially linux/isolinux-based ISO-files).
We use some tricks to work around these problems.
Solution one: Use ‘frugal solution’ (simple solution) which is to extract ‘core-files’ from ISO-file to the ‘root’ (to folder disk 1 in Easyboot) followed by deleting same ‘core-files’ from inside of ISO-file as these are not needed inside ISO-file anymore (example HERE and HERE)
We still need to launch reduced ISO-file and this can be done with ‘run’ in Easyboot menu or using my ‘grub kicker-image’
Grub can launch ISO-files this way:
find --set-root --ignore-floppies /ESET.ISO
map /ESET.ISO (hd32)
map --hook
chainloader (hd32)
boot
This sure starts the ISO but it then halts complaining it cannot find core-files or something…
Sometimes we can solve this with ‘frugal solution’ but not always.
There is another trick we can use and that is to put in some text-lines to redirect isolinux inside ISO-file
Open Eset.iso (I use UltraIso to this) and inside ISO you open folder ‘boot>>grub’ and then using notepad you open file ‘loopback.cfg’
In text-file ‘loopback.cfg’ there is some interesting text we can use:
/casper/vmlinuz boot=casper iso-scan/filename=${iso_path} quiet splash --
initrd /casper/initrd.lz
However the final text we use in menu.lst inside kicker-image is in this example this text:
find --set-root /ESET.ISO
map /ESET.ISO (0xff)
map --hook
root (0xff)
kernel /casper/vmlinuz boot=casper iso-scan/filename=/ESET.ISO --
initrd /casper/initrd.lz
boot
Please note the UPPERCASE to path for ISO-file (/ESET.ISO)
Don’t use /eset.iso as grub is case sensitive when used from CD\DVD
However grub is NOT case sensitive when run from USB.drive
Also notice ‘/’ which is the same as the ‘root’ (folder disk1 in Easyboot)
You could of course change to this /EZBOOT/ESET.ISO and put ISO in folder EZBOOT
If doing this you must rename folder ezboot to EZBOOT (its 100% mandatory you use correct path with UPPERCASE to whole path)
Now save changes to menu.lst and insert back to kaspersky.img (overwriting existing menu.lst)
Finally use ‘Save as’ in UltraIso and save (change name from kaspersky.img to eset.img) and save to folder EZBOOT and use menu command ‘run eset.img’
Don’t forget to copy Eset.iso to folder disk1 or what ever path you use in menu.lst
Make sure you use UPPERCASE to ISO-name (ESET.ISO)
It looks eset refuse to run from USB drive (seems to not like FAT32)
And finally tick ‘Joliet’ when creating ISO in EasyBoot
Avira can also be launched using ‘kicker-image’ but using this text to menu.lst
find --set-root /AVIRA.ISO
map /AVIRA.ISO (0xff)
map --hook
root (0xff)
kernel /casper/vmlinuz file=/cdrom/preseed/ubuntu.seed boot=casper iso-scan/filename=/AVIRA.ISO --
initrd /casper/initrd.lz
boot
Again you can find the ‘basic idea’ reading text-file ‘loopback.cfg’ inside folders ‘boot>>grub’ inside ISO-file
I’m pretty sure Avira can be run from USB drive (no problem with the FAT32 file system for Avira)
I can tell you there is a lot of efforts and *#¤@* before solutions can be presented (its time consuming to solve these issues) and I do not have the right hardware at the moment I’m out and travelling (though nice weather for the moment)
Okay I know there is a lot of information to take in, but see if you can catch the basic how you can use my grub kicker-images
Please also not that I use a less in size floppy image (he, he typical balder to use ‘special size’ to floppy image).

Yes this could be the case, however if possible, test from an ‘real CD\DVD-unit’ (use CD\DVD-RW if you have such equipment).
Note. I tested from Qemu and Eset proceed and did find the ‘live system’ (folder casper holds the ‘live system-files’).
As told, I’m out and travelling (still not lost  ) and have no good hardware to test from 
Its more an ‘test and trial’ I can offer for the moment
Eset (isolinux-version) seems to be a little bit tricky to solve and it refuses to run at all from FAT32 (USB drive)
I know there is a NT6 version (Windows based live ISO) of Eset. This version can be launched by simply put ISO to folder EZBOOT and use menu command: run eset.iso
If possible, try to find this version of Eset (however this one is surely not any ‘free launch’ )

Sorry you misunderstood my point (or badly explained by me).
I know there is an Eset that is totally based and built using NT6-system as source
NT6 is Vista or Win7 or Win8 or server-2008
Such ISO can be launched directly using ‘run’ in Easyboot menu

The Eset.iso you use is as far as I can find out – built using Linux as base and isolinux is used to menus and starts up the ‘whole thing’
Note: you cannot launch this ISO using ‘run’ in EasyBoot.
The nice part is however it is a ‘free lunch’ to use this ISO

I have found what causing us trouble
The Eset.ISO is ‘label-sensitiv’ 
This means the label to the ISO must be exactly the same as the original Eset.ISO-file
You can use UltraIso to open original Eset.ISO and then ‘file>>Properties and choose ‘Label’
The name to ISO is exactly: eSysRescueLiveCD
We can of course edit label to the ISO that EasyBoot creates and then ‘File>>Save As’
However UltraIso always do uppercase to label-name which in our case ends up to be ‘ESYSRESCUELIVECD’ as you can se not exactly the same as someof the letters must be ‘lower case’ and some letters must be ‘uppercase’ to make ISO work okay
If you could find some other ISO-creator to edit Label to ISO created by EasyBoot and that DO NOT make all letters uppercase and instead use what you put in as label, then I’m 100% sure Eset finds the ‘Core-files’
This is also the reason why Eset cannot run from USB-drive
Eset looks for the exact Label name and if no such source with exact label name is found, it complains it cannot find any source that holds the ‘core files’
This also means you have problems if there is some other ISO that also need an exact label name to work correctly (we can only use ONE label name at the time) – but this is not the case here, as Avira is not sensitive in that way
I’ll see if I can find some solution in a couple of days

Found a free program (free lunch)
Use WinISO to change label name to ISO created by EasyBoot
Download HERE
ATTENTION! Only install 'winiso53.exe' and use registration information in 'Readme' (the 'winiso standard 6.exe' is not free to use)
Use exactly label name eSysRescueLiveCD to ISO created by EasyBoot
However the final solution to Eset is to use this method (frugal solution):
1. Open Eset.iso (I used UltraIso to this) and extract folder ‘casper’ to folder EasyBoot\disk1 (keep ISO open in UltraIso)
2. You can now inside opened ISO-file delete all 6 files: ‘*.squashfs’ keeping only files ‘initrd.lz’ and ‘vmlinuz’ in folder ‘casper’ inside ISO-file
3. In UltraIso use ‘File>>Save As’ and save to folder EZBOOT using eset.iso as name (or whatever name you prefer)
4. Use menu command in EasyBoot menu: run eset.iso
5. Tick ‘Joliet’ when creating ISO in EasyBoot
6. Use WinISO to change Label name to created ISO (use exactly label name eSysRescueLiveCD
This works from CD\DVD-unit but not from USB drive as we cannot use such long name as ‘eSysRescueLiveCD’ to a USB drive

I think better is Use old version of Eset rescue boot.
