I have been working on my boot disk for a while now and all of the sudden the menus don't load.  THe main menu will load, but that is it.
When I select a menu and command it to load, everything freezes.  The mouse doesn't move and the directional keys do nothing.
I did a full uninstall then reinstall.  That did nothing.  And since I'm using MS Virtual PC 2007, I uninstalled and reinstalled that.
I've never had this problem before.  It only started when I tried to incorporate UBCD4 into my boot disk.  I though that it was UBCD4 causing the trouble, so I took all of it out.  But it still doesn't work.

Please help!  Are there any options I may have accidentaly selected that would cause this problem?

It seems that the system you loaded cannot work under multi-boot environment of EasyBoot.

It never happened before.  I have the Virtual PC set to 768 MB of RAM, so RAM isn't the problem.
I tried it again, and I didn't notice that my sound was unmuted so I got startled by a 3 second beep when I tried to load a new menu.

It doesn't make sense why this is happening.  It's kind of like when you have a new toy or gadget or something and it's working perfectly one day and the next day it doesn't work, although all the parts are there and are in one piece.

I just uninstalled it and reinstalled it on my secondary partition.  It works fine now.  I'm even using the same menu files.  I just need to add the utilities to see if that will make it not work.

I added the utilities/apps and it seems that everything works.  There are too many files to test at once.

P.S.
What is the purpose of the "EDIT" button?

I think I figured out the problem.  It's UBCD.  As soon as I put the files for UBCD4 into /disk1/ it does it again.
What makes no sense at all is that when I remove everything that has to do with UBCD, my boot disk still doesn't work.

I have the same problem! When I build the iso the main menu comes up but freezes when ever any menu item is selected. Ive tried re-installing several times but nothing works. So I saved all easyboot files and tried (same exact files) on a fresh copy of xp and it works. I would like to know what is causing it not to work on the other machine which worked fine till today, because all my bart files and plugins are on the 1st cpu.

thanks
