I bought this software to make a install cd for work. I am not a cd burner guru. Here is what I did.

1. I copied the Win2K CD and slipstreamed SP4.
2. I added a folder with the exe files for java, ie6 ect..
3. I added this to the upper window of UltraISO.
4. I selected "save as" and made it an ISO file.
5. I followed UltraISO instructions for Roxio and burned it.

What I got is a cd that will autoplay but will not boot. What am I missing? I see option for "load boot file". Where do I get the boot file? Is it on the Windows CD? Is a boot file specific to the files on on a disc or is it a generic file for all CD's? How do I make a boot file?

Thanks for any help,
Doug

You can get boot file from original windows CD this way:
1) Put your CD into CD-ROM
2) Click 'Make CD image' button
3) Select the right CD-ROM drive, and check 'Extract boot image', then click 'Make'

Then, you will get a .BIF file and load it as boot file.
