I just d/l'd the new v7.0 ME version of UltraISO, and have tryed to use it to make an .ISO for burning to DVD-R.

I've got 4335mb of data in 78 files and 3 folders.  Properties dialog has the following enabled:

CD File System: Joliet and UDF

ISO 9660 FileName Format: DOS(8.3) and Omit ISO 9660 version number

  Joliet FileNameFormat:  Extended(110)

I've also added a label.  I've also tryed it with and without the 'Optimize' box checked, but both appear to produce the same results.

When I try access the .ISO image after mounting it with Daemon Tools all I get is CRC errors whenever I try to copy a file from the mounted image.  Of course, burning this image also produces nothing but a 'coaster'.

Funny thing tho, I can extract valid files from the .ISO image using WinRAR just fine.

If there is anything else I can/should do to help please let me know.  Perhaps there are some configuration options to enable a debug log that may help you in diagnosing the problem?  If not, perhaps you should consider adding this feature to assist in remotely diagnosing problems without the actual finished .ISO image in hand?

Using latest version v7.0me on win XP SP1

I am having similiar problems with making .ISO files from a UDF DVD Dual Layer DATA Discs (Not a MOVIE), Aprx 6-7Gig in size. It appears that when making the image from the TOOLBAR "make cd image" icon I select the dvd drive I wish to make image from and then select where to store that image (I of course store it on a NTFS drive with well over 40Gig of room )  after making the image I find that after mounting in a virtual drive or even viewing the contents with UltraIso the files in the ROOT of the Image are there BUT the files are EMPTY ! and thus my program I use to view the DATA say there is no data in the drive as the info header information is stored in those files...

So I then tried another way to make the Image using UltraIso
by Draging the contents of the DVD DATA drive that is located in the "LOCAL" window pane and placing it into the upper pane "Image" I then set my Properties to 9.4 gig, Joliet, Dos8.3,Omit Iso 9660, and then Extended (110). and then create the image this way IT WORKS FINE !

I tried then making this my DEFAULT SETTING and ran the "make cd image" icon again and still the image does not work through that routine. NOw it appears that this happens only with UDF file formats and strangly enough this only occured on files sizes over 7Gig as I have other UDF Data Discs that are smaller and seem to work ok on those... Hum
not my job to debug any further but size seems to matter ?

Now you would say ok fine you got it to work... Yeah but it takes twice as long to create and when I need to do 10 of these discs that time add up...

Also I noticed I still am having the problem of UltraISo not closing even though you close the program. I still get "End UltraISo Program" prompt upon shutting down XP.
