I found a bug in the conversion of a .bin file to an .iso one.

After the conversion some files are modified and corrupted.

If someone is interested I can transfer you the .bin file and see for yourself the bug. After the conversion to .iso a file named "\system32\RICHTX32.OCX" is modified.

Can you help us check it this way please:

1) Download and setup a CD emulating software, such as SoftDisc (http://www.ezbsystems.com/softdisc)
2) Mount original BIN file and converted ISO image in seperate vitual CD drive
3) Compare all files and folders by WinDiff

PS: Theoretical thinking, this case is impossible, because conversion is sector based, not file based.

Sorry!

I have tried but it's very slow and the file is big.

If you want to take the file here is an ed2k link for it.

ed2k://|file|Roxio.Easy.Media.Creator.v7.0-Tda-Cd1.bin|712110336|A4B94380844865C3C7E2B7B984971EC0|/

You can download it using eMule or eDonkey! www.emule-project.com.

Thank you and please post the result and the solution to this problem after u manage to fix it.

Thank again.

Well i think the best solution is to download the daemon tool software run a virtual drive using the image and then make an iso from that virtual.
