Hello,

I opened a DVD ISO image of Visual Studio .NET 2005 with UltraISO v8.1.2 and added a directory and a few files.

Now, when I save this image it always saves and showes the filenames in 8.3 format when the ISO is mounted.

I already unchecked recompile in the configure menü and tried different setting in File / Properties.

No luck so far. Is it really that difficult to add directories and files to a DVD image?

Hello malawi,

Just tested it this way.
1) Open ISO image of Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition DVD
2) Add some files and folders to it
3) Choose 'File'->'Save'
4) Mount the modified ISO by SoftDisc, it works

PS: UltraISO always recompile an ISO image when UDF volume is present.
