An error in the version 9.20!
Taking the 700 MB ISO with Windows XP
remove I386 folder and disk size increases from 700 MB to 4096 GB
after saving image shows the real size!

Good Day Xoben,
Thanks to your Greatly Appreciated help in this thread, I have successfully used UltraISO to convert my bootable Ghost floppies to bootable USB memory sticks.
Now I would like to convert a bootable BartPE based CD ISO image (miniPE) to a bootable USB key....
So I followed the following steps:
(1). Opened the bootable ISO image with UltraISO 9.2 (2). Bootable > Write Disk Image (to the USB key)
Unfortunately when I then try to boot from the generated USB key Nothing happens (doesnt boot).....
I noticed that UltraISO changes a Directory name from I386 to MININT
The USB key size is a Kingston DataTraveller 1GB.
When I generated the usb key, I told UltraISO to write it as USB-HDD+ I have also done it as USB-ZIP+ with the same result.
Could You Please Help me?
Thank You very Much, Best wishes,
Roberta
PS: What are the differences between write USB-HDD, USB-ZIP, USB-HDD+ and USB-ZIP+ ? When & what choice should be made? .

QUOTE QUOTE Unfortunately when I then try to boot from the generated USB key Nothing happens (doesnt boot)..... Any message or log for that? Good Day Xoben,
All that happens is that the BIOS keeps asking for a boot device.....
Thank You Very Much,
Roberta
PS: Why does UltraISO change the Directory's name from i386 to MININT?

QUOTE QUOTE All that happens is that the BIOS keeps asking for a boot device..... Please do as the following: 1) Use USB-ZIP+ mode 2) Keep a eye on screen for message like 'Start booting USB Device...' Hi Xoben,
It says "Boot from USB device", but nothing happens.... ..& it then says to insert a boot device & then to press any key.... ...& it just keeps repeating this if I press any key....
So it fails to recognise the boot sector?
Thank You, Best wishes,
Roberta

OK. Please try another way: 1) Make sure that you are using V9.2.0.2536 update#1 http://www.ezbsystems.com/ultraiso/download.htm 2) Use USB-HDD+ as 'write mode' and try again
