You can do it this way with UltraISO+EasyBoot:
1) Download EasyBoot from http://www.ezbsystems.com/easyboot/download.htm and setup it
2) Start EasyBoot, click 'Tools' and select 'Create New Floppy image' from popup menu
3) On the dialogue, specify the 1.44MB image as seed, choose '8640' as 'image size(kb)' and output filename as wanted, then click 'Create'
4) Open the 1.44MB image by UltraISO to a temp folder
5) Open the newly created 8.64MB image by UltraISO, add all files from the temp folder to it and save

PS: Please refer to http://forum.ezbsystems.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=1240 for how to make a bootable CD from this boot image.

It's interesting that you do not know your own software....

"click 'Tools' and select 'Create New Floppy image' from popup menu" - there is no such option.  The options are

1. Make CD/DVD image
2. Convert (totally useless as it *never* recognizes the input file type -no .ima -no .imz)
3. Mount to virtual drive
4. Burn CD/DVD image (better have the .iso already)
5. Check disk
6. etc.

There is *NO* option to create a floppy image.  You can read one in but if you try to add anything to it you'll get a popup telling you it's full if you want more than 1.44 mb.  All I want/need to do is convert a 2.86 MB .ima floppy image into an .iso ... still trying after 4 hours.

Any clue on how to do that at least?

I followed balroggie's steps listed above.  I used these steps to create a bootable cd containing the contents of 3 installation disks for Dos 6.22.  Unfortunately, when I try to boot to the CD, I get a Non-System disk or disk error.  The floppies work just fine.

I used an image of the first Dos installation disk as the seed for creating the larger image.  I opened the larger image, and copied the contents of all three disks into the .img file.  I then saved the image as bootdisk.img to c:\ezboot.  I created a new bootable cd/dvd image using UltraIso using loader.bin as the boot file (as instructed).  I then copied the c:\ezboot folder to file list for the new image.  c:\ezboot contains bootdisk.ezb, bootdisk.img, and loader.bin. I then saved the .iso, and created a CD from it. I then received the error I mentioned above when trying to boot to the CD.  I would really like to create a CD to install Dos, any help on what I'm doing wrong would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

For DOS 6.22, please open the first floppy image, sort files by LBA and remember the position of first three files. Then open the empty large image, add these three files one by one first.

I followed the steps recommended, and I made it to the first setup screen for MS-DOS 6.22.  However, it prompts me to insert Disk 1 in drive A: and won't allow me to go any farther.  Any further suggestions?  Thanks!

I followed the steps listed above to create a bootable cd to install MS-DOS 6.22 (spanish version) whit the last version of EasyBoot and UltraISO. But when this cd boots and I choose the option to install MS-DOS 6.22 it begins to read from cd without to stop. No show any error message and I have to power down or restart the computer.
I think it's a problem with IO.SYS.
Can you help me?
Thank you!
