Hi

followed the idiot guide for creating a usb boot for xp sp3.

tried it on a dell system and after pe loads get the blue screen of death telling me to configure my hard drive, remove a virus or driver etc etc. The generic one;-) could this be because the dell has SATA drives?

if so what is the solution?

thanks

Ian

SATA may not be a problem unless it is configed to working in AHCI mode.
