Someone out there knows the answer...I can't find it in the solutions so here goes...

Windoze 7 (x64)
On domain
"My Documents" mapped as \\domain path\users\username
Physically you see on the “My Documents” drive is the username directory.

UltraISO wants to create a folder (My ISO) and it assumes that \users\ in the mapping is "My Documents" but it is not and I do not have permissions to write to that folder.

Anything that wants to create a directory to "My Documents" gets stopped because the U: drive is not root mapped to the user account. Its root mapped to the previous directory (users) which the end user (myself) has no permissions.

Is there a workaround/command switch that can be utilized to tell UltraISO not to create a "My ISO" directory in the first place? Or have the ability to tell it to make that directory somewhere else that I have write permissions to.

Is this forum even alive?

No reply?

I like the product but apparently the support is non-existent.

Never mind folks, I hacked my registry and got it installed and if you've got the problem too then you'll apparently have to start digging into your own registry to fix this if you run into it because this company doesn't respond to technical questions, nor apparently do they even read their forum.

Oh well - at least they do have a good product.

Sorry for late response.

The registry for "My ISO" is:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\EasyBoot Systems\UltraISO\5.0]
"ISOFolder"="D:\\My Documents\\My ISO Files"
