I have a bootable Acronis ISO image and want to make a bootable USB Flash 4Gb stick, formatted FAT32.
So having Windows XP OS, in UltraIso, I go to "Bootable", then to "Write Disk Image", choosing my (Flash) Disk Drive to write to, my Acronis ISO image file and Write Method "USB-HDD+". During writing, there are messages: 6# Boot Sector: Unknown 7# WARNING! USB disk created from ISO image may not boot properly!
Writing is reported as "Successful", but my USB Flash does not boot.
In the forum, there a few other posts reporting a similar problem, and there replies advising to format USB Flash as NTFS. But I would like to have FAT32! Is it possible with UtraIso?
In my amateur opinion, it has something to do with USB Flash partitioning/formatting/boot record . I tried a couple of different options in "Xpress Boot" menu. No luck!
Would scripts "easyboot-usb_v2.script" and "easyboot-grub-iso.script" help?
If I use another program called "FlashBoot 2.1" to write the same Acronis ISO to USB Flash, the USB flash becomes perfectly bootable!
