I have been trying to use UltraISO to make a bootable CD-ROM from a bootable MS-DOS stick under Windows 7.  With 9.3.6.2750 and with 9.3.6.2766, Bootable->Make Disk Image reports Error: No Floppy Drive Found.

In contrast, Bootable->Make Floppy Image reports the HDDs and USB stick on the system and creates the right size .ima file.  Bootable->Load Boot File changes the image state to "Bootable CD/DVD" and that state is saved in the .iso file, but when the .iso file is burned to a CD-R then the CD-R does not boot.

It seems like a bug that Bootable->Make Disk Image should report Error: No Floppy Drive Found.  And it seems like a bug that Bootable->Make Floppy Image should report the HDDs instead of no Floppy Drive Found.  These leave me wondering if the .ima file that resulted from the Bootable->Make Floppy Image is valid.

If that is not the case, then what am I doing wrong that my CD-R does not boot?

you are trying to write an bootable iso on a CD-R   ???? the image never fits on that CD  you have to use a DVD
a cd is about 700mb ..an image is a lot bigger !!!!
the writing proces can not start  when using a cd -r
and  when you extract the image from a bootable usb stick  by using ultra iso he tels you if this is a bootable or not : if not you have to load the boot file ...
you can find this on google  look for.... windows7.bif
ore you can use ultraiso to extract the boot sektor from cd/floppy /HD

In this case, the USB stick that has the bootable MS-DOS system is only 256 MB.  Why would that not fit on a 700 MB CD-R?

When I save the .ima file it is only 250 MB, so why do you say that an image is a lot bigger than 700 MB?
