I have a Windows 7 ISO from MSDN.
I extract a tiny file (47 bytes).
I edit the file. New file is 50 bytes.
I delete the original file and add the new file.
I "Save As..." ISO to new ISO.
Why is new ISO 24MB larger than original ISO?

The new file worked properly? Might be new file is not made properly. Copy the available file on another drive and delete everything from old folder and try to make it again.

Please choose 'File'->'Properties' from main menu of UltraISO, and check 'Optimize' before saving as a new ISO.

Thanks for the reply.

Is there a way to extract a tiny file (47 bytes) as above, edit the extracted file, delete the original file from the ISO, add the new edited file and force the new file to occupy the same LBA as the original file on a direct save?

Would be nice to have this one developed. This might be just a minimal impact but would be nice to have one around.
