Running Win XP sp2 -
Have installed Damontools 408 1st then installed Softdisc 301.312.
1. I have mounted and loaded 2 separate games using images I made from Alcohol 120.
2. At Windows start-up both games load up automatically as though the CD's were put in drives. How do I stop this from happening. Previously had these same games loaded with older versions of Softdisc & Damontools on Windows ME. This worked great and would only open when I would click on the game icon and never loaded auto at startup.
Also now on XP I keep exiting the Dtools and it will ask if I wish to keep running emulation, click yes and sys-tray icon goes away as I want. At Windows restart it loads again icon is back and both games start up. I have unchecked AUTOSTART in both Softdisc and Dtools.
3. Do I need both Softdisc & Dtools to run virtual load mounted drives for games that I already have images made for and mounted to drive. 4. If no which one would work by itself to open and run mounted game and not start game automatically.
Thanks for any help you can offer. Eric

1) For Daemon-Tools 4.08, please uncheck 'Secure Mode' and 'Automount' by D-Tools itself
2) You can use Daemon-Tools itself to mount and emulate games.

Nice. This works like a charm. I can know play games using emulator files.
