Hi to all.. i'm new with ultraiso, so far it's working really well, with the exception of everytime i make a Image to backup my files and then mount it with daemon tools, it doesn't record the visualization options in explorer (it launches in the default view - icons while i want the detailed view on most folders)

This is sooo annoying.. since an image is read-only and hence any further visualization modifications once the image is done won't "stick" making the whole incredibly annoying (i will have to manually change to the detail view everytime i enter or return to the folder!)

thank you in advance... i hope it's fixable.. i've tried changing the image properties without success. by the way, images done/burned with nero don't appear have this problem

Pietro.

This problem relates to folder settings of Windows explorer. You can set the detailed view on all folders to resolve this problem.

Much thanks for the tip!, its much easier to deal with it now.. anyway im afraid it doesn't solve my problem completely.. the thing is, what about if i want (for example) the thumbnail view on the image folders? as fas as i know explorer "remembers" those attributes (in NTFS, at least). and strangely (?) enough i have burned cd's that will open with the view attributes i burned them with even on a different PC. so is this possible or it's just me? lol

thanks in advance, Pietro.
