Sorry I am sure this question is answered some where, but I can not find it. I have been slowly converting my dvds to .iso image files using Ultra ISO, and would now like to be able to watch these images on a virtual dvd/cd drive. I have these following pieces of software on my computer:
Ultra Iso
Soft Disc
& Daemon Tools.

The steps I have been taking are:
1) Inserting dvd into physical dvd drive.
2) Ultra ISO creates an .iso image file
3) Soft Disc mounts image file( by right clicking virtual drive )
4) Use dvd playing software

Unfortunately by step 4 I am now running the dvd playing software, but this program eats up most my cpu resources. I am assuming I am doing something wrong.

All of the dvds I am putting on my computer are protected. So if you could lead me to a walkthrough with these pieces of software specifically in mind I would greatly appreciate it.

Thank you,

Kevin

Your DVD may be copy-protected, you can use DVDDecryptor or AnyDVD+UltraISO to backup this kind of disc.

I have been able to download DVDDecryptor, but I am not quite sure how to use it. Also will this remove the copyright protection.

I am not trying to do anything illegal, I just want to be able to use my laptop for movies, like I would use my ipod for music. Basically so I could watch the movies on the go, without needing to carry around dvds.
