Hi,
I have just installed the trial version of UltraISO and I am trying to make a copy of my sons PC CD-ROM so that I can skip having the CD in the CD drive all the time...
Is it normal that copying a CD shall take hours? Right now the progress is ~0.5% and the remaining time is ~25 hours and increasing all the time?
Regards, a newbie on this

In general, it takes about 2-5 minutes to image a CD-ROM disc. But for some copy-protected or damaged CDs, it may take very long time to finish.
If you are sure that the CD-ROM works, please try an alternative program named CloneCD (http://www.slysoft.com) , which may help you to backup copy-protected CDs.

Thanks for the answer. I guess there was some kind of copy-protection on the CD but I left it running for the night and it finished without problems.
