Please answer me is important.

If i make ISZ images with Heavy compress they are more risk to the ISZ file be corrupted, it is more dangerous than the NORMAL ISZ compress or is the same risk. And it is possible to a ISZ file can damage or corrupt in the compress process, it is happend is possible to recovery?

About Optimize, if I optimize a game ISZ image, and in the game exist equal files in different folders, the optimize will encode the same files only once, ok, but if i mount that optimize ISZ image of the game which have equal files in different folders, now optimized, i can play the game directly from that ISZ Optimized Image without any problem or no? it can be any possibility of the file need to be in the different folders, but now because the ISZ is optimized it is possible to have any problem during the game play?

And if i do this for various version of the game, do a ISZ file with for example Resident evil 1 to 4 Optimized i can play directly from the Optimized ISZ without problem? (of course if the ISZ image with de 4 games are well done).

And if i extract the ISZ Optimized image of that game to a hard Disk, UltraIso do the reverse process, put the same encode files in the right folders where they were before Optimize? there are a form to do this reverse process without extract? or how i can reverse the optimize process of an ISZ image (explain me the various possible processes please).

There are a possibility when Optimize a ISZ image to lose some of the same encode files in the compress process or the uncompress process, is optimize very solid and secure? if some files have the same name and size but they are different files "inside" UltraIso detect it and dont optimize? can I use it without any problem to create Optimized ISZ images of games, music and any softwares?

To finish,  there are any situation that is not recommended to Optimize? if there are can u tell me is possible all of them or there are no problem to optimize always when creating or editing a ISZ or another image extension file.

Thanks. Max

1) About ISZ files
- At present, only ISO images (Data CD/DVD, DVD-Video) can be saved as ISZ format, audio CD/VCD/multi-track/multi-session CD's are not supported yet
- Normal compression and Heavy compression employ different algorithm. In general, there is no risk at compress stage.
- It is recommanded to backup important ISZ images just as a normal file

2) About optimize
- UltraISO compares MD5 signature of files, and save only one copy in ISO/ISZ image for files has same MD5 signature.
- It is recommanded to verify optimized images (binary compare with source files) to ensure that it works
- On extraction/emulation, the optimized ISO/ISZ works as the same as non-optimized ones

Thanks a lot Xoben, but u said:

"It is recommended to verify optimized images (binary compare with source files) to ensure that it works",

How i do this kind of verification? there'se an option in UltraISO? where?

and u said:

"UltraISO compares MD5 signature of files, and save only one copy in ISO/ISZ image for files has same MD5 signature"

I dont understand almost nothing about MD5, but that mean if I always optimize all the DATA CD/DVD and DVD-Video is 100% secure? Is possible Optimize AUDIO CD/DVD?

1) Some third-party programs such as WinDiff and UltraCompare may help you to comapare files in binary.

PS: Please check your PM for a private build of UltraISO, which supports build-in binary compare feature, so the optimized result should be 100% secure now.

2) DVD-Video and Audio CD cannot be optimized with UltraISO.

Thanks one more time xoben, as u can see i am new.

1 - u said:
"PS: Please check your PM for a private build of UltraISO, which supports build-in binary compare feature, so the optimized result should be 100% secure now."

2 - and u send me:
"Note:
1) This version optimize ISO images with binary compare method, the speed may be much slower than MD5 compare, but the result should be 100% secure.
2) Although MD5 optimize is not 100% secure, it may take many years (even your whole life-time) to encounter an error result."

1 - I dont understand what PM means, u know i am a spanish guy my english is not so good i think.

2 - That´s mean the new UltraIso 8.6.1.1985 PE do a binary compare method and not the MD5 method anymore? and I dont need to use the third-party programs u tell me to do the binary compare method?

Yes, the private build has build-in binary compare function, no third-party programs is needed anymore.

ok, i want to know if the ISZ Images with the normal compress are 100% secure, because i am doing a backup of all my games in the ISZ extension and i want to know if there are any possibility the images I create with UltraIso can have any problem: corruption, damage, etc.

Well, what I really want to know is:

1. If i create a ISZ with UltraIso, UltraIso verifies during the compress process and after (the resulting file) if the ISZ is OK or only do one of the mension before.

2. And this is important: if i create a ISZ image with UltraISo and no errors occurs during the compressing process i can be sure that ISZ created have no errors: corruption, damage, files lost, etc

3. How i can do to verify if a ISZ image is 100% OK.

4. And How i can recovery or Fixe a corrupted or damage ISZ image. It is possible?

Please help me it is important. Thanks.

1) UltraISO will report a message if an error is encountered during compressing procedure
2) You can veryfy ISZ images the same way as standard ISO's
For example, use 'File'->'Verify checksums' or 'Tools'->'Verify CD/DVD checksums' or other methods
3) At present, recovery for damaged ISZ images is not supported
