i have a cd burner that does not seem to support "Track At Once", so i use ultraiso because it lets me make an image that can be burned without 2 second gaps between the tracks.

now, in order to burn an audio cd from flac/ape files i have to

1. unrar (1 minute)
2. de-flac or de-ape (1-10 minutes)
3. cue split (1 minute)

then, in ultraiso:

4. click "New"
5. drag the wav files into UltraIso
6. click the "burn" button
7. click "Yes" to save project
8. click "Save" in the "Save as" dialog
9. click "Yes" to overwrite old bin/cue files
10. wait 1 minute
11. click "Burn" in the dialog
12. wait 5 minutes, then repeat

after burning a couple of dozen cd's you get pretty tired of repeating this mundane procedure.

it would be great if it was possible to

a) drag a CUE and an APE file into ultraiso
b) drag a set of FLAC files into ultraiso

then click ONE button that would just burn the cd, with no more Yes/No dialogs, etc.

or any other suggestions to make this process more straight forward would be greatly appreciated!

For APE's, it is recommanded to burn it this way:

Step 1: Setup APE codec
 - Download http://dw.ezbsys.net/ape.exe and setup it

Step 2: Burn Audio CD from APE's
1) Choose 'File'->'New'->'Audio CD image' from main menu
   or Click the 'New' button
2) Add APE files to the image area
3) Choose 'File'->'Save' (or 'Save As') to get an .NRG (or BIN/CUE) image
4) Press F7 to burn a CD

PS: At present UltraISO does not support FLAC format yet.

thanks for getting back to me, that means i won't have to unpack the ape files.

but i still have to do split the cue/ape file into separate ape files, and i have to do all the New, Save As, Overwrite existing File, etc. wait one minute, then click "Burn".

even if i still have to split the files, i'd like the user interface designer of ultraiso to make a ONE CLICK function for burning:

1. drag the files into ultraiso
2. click "BURN" -- NO QUESTIONS ASKED, just burn my files!
