Hi, i wasnt sure where to look around for this, but i just recently got ultraIso but i was wondering if its possible to make a bootable winxp onto a dvd format, if so, how should i go about doing this? Sorry if this topic has already been covered =/

Basically i want to get the files from a winxp cd into a winxp dvd format

any help with this would be appreciated and thanks in advance

Tips:
1) Start UltraISO
2) Press F8 to get an ISO image from Windows XP setup CD
3) Press F7 to burn the ISO to a recordable DVD disc

EDIT: I tried the above reply, however when i tried it said "write error" this also happened when i used nero it stopped @ 8% and didnt move on from there.

would i need to do anything special to make it boot from the dvd, or just by making an iso from the winxp cd it will auto boot from dvd once i burn the iso image on the dvd?

sorry tried not to sound to confusing >.<

Making an iso from the winxp cd, it will auto boot once burned onto a dvd.
