HI all, I'm tring to make my own portable version of UltraIso following the guidelines of PortableApps.com Basically the laucher do: starts the ISODrive service (isocmd -i) writes to Registry on exit remove the service (isocmd -r)
On the first launch all went fine, the service is started and I can mount iso to virtual drive.
Restarting the launcher from the same directory, the error: NO virtual drive like isocmd -i failed or was not executed.
I thought the problem was something related to the need of a reboot in order to completely remove the drive.
But the strange behavior is that if I move the portable folder to another directory all is OK. Seems that reinstalling the driver from the same directory always fails.
This happens in vista Home premium (UAC was disabled and IsoCmd.exe was running As Administrator) In XP there is no problem !
if anyone has any advice ...
Regards
