Hi Guys, This is my first post so be gentle with me. I am trying to make an installation disc using XP Home and SP3. I have managed to do this no problems using nLite (I am sure I can do it with UltraISO but not worked it out yet). Anyroad everytime I come to install using the newly created disc I cant get past the Product key stage. It asks me to enter a product key but I am wanting to skip this stage and enter the details once windows is up and running. Whats strange is that I did the exact same process using a Win XP Pro (OEM) disc I had and this works fine. The WinXP Home Edition disc I am using is a Medion recovery CD I got with an old computer. Is this the reason I cant skip the product key stage.
Below is the WINNT.SIF data I am using: -
[Data] AutomaticUpdates = "Yes" Autopartition = 0 MsDosInitiated = 0 UnattendedInstall = "Yes"
[Unattended] UnattendMode = DefaultHide UnattendSwitch = "Yes" OemPreinstall = "Yes" OemSkipEula = "Yes" FileSystem = NTFS WaitForReboot = "No" NoWaitAfterTextMode = 1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode = 1 DriverSigningPolicy = Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy = Ignore Hibernation = "No"

[Networking] InstallDefaultComponents = "Yes"

Yeah I did do that and it never worked. I read somewhere that using a Recovery CD will not work if used on a computer other than the one it came originally pre-installed on.
