Were trying to make a bootable cd for the school and keep getting the same error. Write Mode Page Error. I also notice it will not allow you to set the speed lower. It only offers MAX speed as a option. I have tried this on two different computers and get the same error. Both machines are running Windows 7, and I wonder if that is a issue that does not work under this version yet? Should I give up and forget it?

I am having the exact same problem and that other post does not apply because I have an AMD based laptop. I actually burned an image successfully the other day and I don't believe I've changed anything since then. I did notice windows do an automatic update, for the record.
Processor AMD RM-70 Windows 7 x64

Additionally, I downloaded all the newest AMD drivers since this issue came about. Still no luck.
