I have created a bootable USB drive with NTFS for Shadow Protect using the following.
1. Open ISO image 2. Bootable\Write Disk Image then Write 3. Goto Command Window and use Convert x: /FS: NTFS 4. Bootable\Write Disk Image\XpressBoot\Write New Drive Boot Sector using Windows Vista/7
This works great and the flash drive boots NTFS and works flawlessly.
When I make an image of the finished drive above, it creates the image with no errors however when opening the image I get an "Invalid or unknown image file format!" message when opening in UltaISO 9.3.6.2750.
As an aternative, I can add drivers and utils to the CD and follow the 4 steps above to achieve the desired results. I haven't tried to add a 4+GB SPD image yet since I would probably have issues with the file size on the USB drive.
Just curious if NTFS will ever be supported for flash drives, or if it's even possible. Â
UltaISO a great tool, keep up the great work. Â
Thanks, Hawkeye
