Hi,How do I run parted magic iso 6 in easyboot? I have extracted the contents of the iso in a folder named pm in the root.In the run command I used "bcdw /pm/boot/syslinux/isolinux.bin /pm/pmagic/bzimage noapic initrd=/pm/pmagic/initramfs root=/dev/ram0 eng_ver splash=silent".But when tested in virtual pc I get the massage searching for PMAGIC_6_0.SQFS and then cannot find PMAGIC_6_0.SQFS. @darryl_coQuote: “How do I run parted magic iso 6 in easyboot?” You can simply use the “frugal solution” to any version of parted magic ![]() Do it this way: 1. Use my script “easyboot-iso.script” to integrate parted magic ISO-file into EasyBoot (you can use any name in script text-box to ISO-file. How about PARTEDMAGIC? Note: you automatically receive the right menu command to use in Easyboot menu by script. 2. Open your integrated pmagic-iso-file in folder easyboot\disk1\ISO (I use UltraIso to this operation) 3. Copy folder “pmagic” to EasyBoot\disk1 4. Still operating in UltraIso - open folder “pmagic\pmodules” and delete file “pmagic-6.3.sqfs” (you don’t need this file in ISO any more).Delete if present, "backup-file" of ISO created by UltraIso 5. Save changes to ISO-file (now heavily reduced in size) 6. Open folder Easyboot\disk1\pmagic and delete files; bzImage and file initramfs (this files is in ISO-file and not needed in folder Easyboot\disk1\pmagic 7. When creating ISO in EasyBoot you can check or uncheck “Joliet” it works with or without "Joliet" That’s it ![]() balder |
