hi.how to run eset nod32 rescue disk iso file & without script? I do'nt want extract files. Posted by balder on Oct. 03 2011,12:58
@BehdadsoftQuote: "how to run eset nod32 rescue disk iso file & without script?" Well it seems you already asked for solution to eset nod32 ![]() Note: eset nod32 is based on NT6-system - built from NT6-system source (most likely Vista). You have two options to solve this (actually 3 options but let's stick to two well working solutions as you are interested in avoiding extracting files and folders to folder disk1). Solution one - only working if run Easyboot_v6 (read < HERE >): 1. Install Easyboot-version-6 (if not already done) 2. Copy eset nod32-iso-file to folder ezboot and change name to - let's say; nod32.iso 3. Use menu command in Easyboot menu: run nod32.iso 4. You don't need to check anything when creating ISO in EasyBoot. Solution two (absolutely bullet proof and works with any version of Easyboot installed): 1. Use my script "easyboot-iso.script" to integrate eset nod32 ISO-file 2. You automatically receive the right meny command to use in EasyBoot menu by script. 3. You don't need to check anything when creating ISO in EasyBoot. balder Posted by Behdadsoft on Oct. 06 2011,07:26

@BehdadsoftQuote: "when I run iso , nod32 Hang up " Yes this could be the case. I downloaded several different nod32-iso-files (rescue-ISO). The "original" eset nod32 works fine ![]() ![]() So what version of eset nod32 are you using? The "original" or some "homebuild" (probably some original ISO that has been modified in some way) ![]() Note: the "original" eset nod32 (amr_eset4.iso) is proximally 226 MB in size (right-click and choose properties to get the size of ISO) The modified version is more than 300 MB in size (the one that hang) balder Posted by Behdadsoft on Oct. 06 2011,07:46
yes The "original" eset nod32 works fine , but when I use it in easyboot Hang up.I use "ESET.SysRescue.CD.2011.05.16"

@BehdadsoftPlease check this: The "original" eset nod32 (amr_eset4.iso) is proximally 226 MB in size (right-click and choose properties to get the size of ISO) The modified version is more than 300 MB in size (the one that hang) balder Posted by Behdadsoft on Oct. 06 2011,07:54
My eset iso file is 183 MB.

@BehdadsoftI don't think you are able to build any "rescue"-ISO that is less than 220MB (or larger) using NT6-system as source ![]() It must have that size ![]() Note: If you open nod32-ISO-file and find a folder "Windows" then it is the modified not that well working ISO-file In fact, watch out so your computer isn't infected by virus as this ISO is not the "Original". balder Posted by Behdadsoft on Oct. 06 2011,15:16
OK. I want Make Multiboot (Active Boot disk & eset Nod32) But They are similar files and I can't extract both ISO File Because replaced on Each other. Please Guid Me to solve this Problem. THANKS A LOT Posted by balder on Oct. 06 2011,15:40
@BehdadsoftQuote: "I want Make Multiboot (Active Boot disk & eset Nod32) But They are similar files and I can't extract both ISO File Because replaced on Each other" Okay things is slowly getting clear to me ![]() You didn't tell what version of Active Boot disk we are dealing with ![]() Note: Active Boot disk-5 is built from NT6-source (most likely Vista). Such ISO is basically an WinPE-ISO-file. This makes it very easy to launch such ISO-file directly ![]() As you are going to launch ISO-file as it is you can extract files and folders from eset-nod32 to folder disk1 (that is your plan) To clear things out - basically you have an ISO-file of Active Boot disk-5 - correct me if I'm wrong Read what I wrote in post nr; 2 in this topic. I guess you only are interested in solution one in post nr; 2 as it seems you in some way are afraid (or what I shall call it) to use my scripts (in this case "easyboot-iso.script) explained in solution two in same post nr; 2. Do it this way: Simply copy Active Boot disk-5 ISO-file to folder ezboot and rename ISO to let's say; Active5.iso Then use menu command in EasyBoot meny; run Active5.iso You don't need to check anything when creating ISO in EasyBoot, but "Joliet" might be needed if having some linux\isolinux onboard your build. Note: Checking "Joliet" doesn't bother Active Boot disk-5. Attention! this only works if you have upgraded EasyBoot to version-6 (read post nr;2) ![]() If you refuse to upgrade EasyBoot to version-6 then you are bound to use my script "easyboot-iso.script" which easily solves this issue with a breeze ![]() regards balder |
