Good evening,

I have successfully set up a penta boot EZBMenu.

I have it set up to use Image for DOS, Symantec Ghost, BartPE, 2 main hard drives. My issue is this,

When the XPE environment loads I get an error that firefox cannot be found even when I have checked the ISO and determined that it indeed DOES exist. Secondly my task menu has the clock but nothing else shows on the task bar. There is a small square that appears when I place a mouse cursor over the location where the startmenu/Go menu would appear. Clicking this takes me into an explorer menu. I can run the programs by going to the program folder. (NOTE: this does not happen with my pure PE CD.)

Other than this my CD works fine both under VMWare, and Virtual PC

Any thoughts or ideas would be appreciated. I am using 7.6.2.1180 UltraISO and 5.0.6.472 EasyBoot

Respectfully,
Brian

For BartPE, please do no check 'Joliet' option when creating an ISO by EasyBoot.

Good evening Xoben;

I did not have Joliet checked. I had noted that caused a few issues in another thread. I do have optimize and DOS 8.3 checked

Regards,
Brian

I just discovered, and tested a solution posted in another thread by Eureka. I did indeed have the DOS 8.3 checked. That was causing my issues.

Thanks Eureka!

About caps: it doesn’t matter if folder is named PROGRAMS or programs, not in this case. You have 100% right there!

It seems to me that you have activated Joliet and/or DOS(8.3) when creating ISO-file in EasyBoot.
Please uncheck Joliet and DOS(8.3). Only activate “Optimize” when creating ISO-file in EasyBoot.
