I'm using 7.6.0.1081 and having a problem with some file snot being copied into an iso image. The file lengths have a long directory structure and long names. I've checked the boxes to allow tp to 211 chars and that helped, but I still have some way to go.Files that are 'too' long simpy do not make it onto the ISO. Now I hate to say this, but I can produce an ISO with Nero (it may not be strictly readable on every CD), but I'd prefer to stick to ultraiso as I have a number of batch files already setup. Firstly, long path is not a problem, becase ISO volume stores every folder name seperatly.To fully support windows filenames, it is recommanded to use 'UDF' volume other than 'Joliet'. Posted by dmshimself on Jul. 01 2005,05:30
Thanks for that but it doesn't seem to help. I have played around a bit and found that it seems to be the length of the source filename. So in my case I have a unc type path which is pretty large, but the files I want are there. If I drag that lot into ultraiso, not all the files are added. (No warnings that I could see).But good news, if I map a drive letter to some point further down the unc path, all is well. |
