hi,
ultrasio corupts executable files when i make changes in iso image. files become unusable, file icon goes white and when i try to launch it, opens command line window, also it corupts autorun.inf files. words in inf file are changed into unreadable and understandable text, egzample: "@лҐmv^jШВ#€н–i…ЌУёТЄї‹HлУБэ†ЋXР@sѓ ‡pЕЦ".

Hello, could you provide step by step instructions about how to reproduce your problem ?

BTW, what version of UltraISO are you using now?

my version is 7.6.2.1180 media edition. i add few files to image and then save, and next time i opened this image - files were corrupted. corrupted images were games images.

Please send the first 1MB of your ISO image to service@ezbsystems.com (A small tool at < http://dw.ezbsys.net/filecut.exe > may help you), and provide step by step instructions for how to reproduce this problem. Thank you.

so, did you find a solution? i have the same problem. i guess this is because ISo is more than 4 gig. i have corrupted files like WINNT.SIF, RUNONCEEX.CMD, CMDLINES.TXT

@anri

Check that the generated ISO file be saved to an NTFS partition. If you try to save a 4Gb+ file on a FATxx partition, you will experience data corruption - not only with UltraISO, but with any program. FAT partitions use 32bits for file lengths, so no file with a length of over 4,294,967,295 bytes could possibly exist.

Btw, UltraISO has no way to tell on what type of partition you are saving; therefore, if the resulting ISO would be more than 4Gb long, the ISO file, when saved on FAT disks, couldn't possibly be not corrupted.

P.S. Microsoft Word files would just as well be corrupted, if only you could find one over 4Gb. So would RAR archives; anything.

of course i am using NTFS. i tryed to save on several drive letter, but it is the same. also i noticed that .MSI files are corrupted as well, also are SFX rar files. just yesterday i compiled new unattended DVD, just yesterday i made fresh .ISO image & everything is ok, but when i modifyed something and while installing windows it told me that ACPI.SYS is corrupted.
