i'm attempting to create a bootable cd to update my BIOS. The update is designed to use a bootable floppy, but i have no floppy drive so I -1) Create a .IMA file from the floppy diskette by 'Bootable'->'Create Floppy Image' 2) Choose 'File'->'New'->'Bootable CD/DVD', specify the newly created .IMA as boot file 3) Save to an ISO 4) Press F7 to burn and end up with an empty cd .... Please note the difference between 'bootable' and 'autorun'.'bootable' - can startup your PC from power-on status (for example, setup Windows XP to a blank harddisk) 'autorun' - display a menu under Windows environment when your CD is inserted to a CD/DVD drive (for example, setup Microsoft Office) |
