Topic: Password protected *.dmg can not be opened?

Hi all,

I have a password protected *.dmg file. If I try to open it in Ultraiso (8, latest version, trial), it returns:

"Invalid or unknown image file format!".

However, when I open the file in Stuffit on the mac, the file is recognized and stuffit properly asks for a password. After entering that, the file is opened correctly. therefor, the error seems to be within Ultraiso. The problem I have is: the contents of the *.dmg (an iso) need to be written to my XP-box, but that doesn't seem to be possible (write access on NTFS not permitted).

Is there any way to make this work? Maybe via the CLI? I looked in the manual and I searched this forum, but I found nothing.

I'd appreciate it very much if somebody can help me,

Thank you in advance,

B.

(PS Of course I considered Stuffit for XP, but these "dudes" over there want a credit card number even before they release the trial-page to you. Yes, that's also a way of doing business, but not my way ;-))

Sorry, UltraISO does not support password protected DMG images yet. We will try to realize this feature at future versions.
