I did the Aspi32 fix but made no difference.

Hello Tim, it seems that the problem relates to certain computer environment. Could you please try on another Xp SP2 system and see if this problem can be reproduced?

I have tried UltraISO on 3 systems now.

The first one you know about (the one above)

The second runs Windows 2003 Server Standard SP1. It starts ok but seems unstable when dealing with ISO images.
Also it will give an error on exit and never exit. I have to use Task Manager to kill the task.

The third system is another Win XP Pro SP2 system and all seems fine on that one.

After all that I now found a way to make it work on the first system. I set Application Compatability to Windows 2000 and disabled Advanced Text Services.
This appears to fix the problem.

More info.

The original problem seem to have something to do with the controls along the top of the UltraISO form.
It will open OK but as soon as I move the mouse pointer over the small icons then it crashes with the error(s) shown above.

This stopped happening when I did the compatability fix.

Thank you tim for the information.

UltraISO will show tips string of the speed button at that moment. This is a system control, only Windows API is called.

BTW, we cannot reproduce this problem on all of our XP SP2 systems. Any information for how to reproduce this problem will be appreciated.
