Forum: UltraISO Topic: Question about .ISZ started by: muna580 Posted by muna580 on Feb. 09 2007,03:32
.isz is a compressed version of .iso. I normally have DVD's that I make an ISO image of and save it to my PC so I can mount it and watch it at a later time. My ISOs come out to around 9GB due to the types of movies I watch. Then what I do is use a program called DVD Shrink which compresses the ISO down to around 4GB. This way I still have the ISO file and ability to burn it. Does ISZ have the ability to be burned again? Dose it have the abilted to be mounted onot a virtual drive and watch the movie? Is there a way I can have an ISZ file and then convert it to ISO but still retain the size? Basically what I am trying to do is find a way out of using DVD Shrink. It takes more than 3 hours to compress the ISO and it is very tedious. Posted by xoben on Feb. 09 2007,04:25
