Guys, this is pretty much the same question that I see in a different thread here about adding files to an Acronis bootable.

In my case, I want to take a Hiren's Bootable CD and simply utilize all the extra room. I want to add to it a selection of my own programs, plus I want to add some of my own data files, such as Word docs.

I know this is dead-easy, but I'm stuck trying to figure out exactly where to insert things. I've got Ultra ISO looking at the insides of the Hiren's Boot Disk ISO, but are there rules about exactly what headings to use? —Is it exactly the same as inserting new folders in a Windows Explorer hierarchy, or do I have to watch the names I use and the exact placement of the files?

And I know that question is maybe so simple that people might find it sort of hard to answer. Sorry. Once I get the basics figured out, I'll be on my way.

Thanks lots.

Tips:
1) Open an ISO image
2) Choose 'Actions'->'Add Files' from main menu to add files
choose 'Actions'->'Add Diretory' to add a folder

--or--

select files and folders from windows explorer (or lower build-in file browser), drag & drop to the image area

Note: UltraISO will show warning messages if same name files is found.

3) Save ISO

xoben, you are good! and thanks a lot! I'm telling you, there is a real talent in being able to answer a question like mine—I know. Once somebody knows what he's doing, it is so hard to see the problem.

Anyway, this is exactly what I needed to know! Thanks very much indeed! :)
