Hi,i'm having problems mounting ISO files. If i right click on an ISO file and mount it to one of the virtual drives created by UltraISO it doesn't mount. It is as if nothing's happened. However, if i launch the program and choose to mount from within the program menu it works perfectly. By the way, I have already made a tick in the "run as administrator" box for the program. Can you help? thanks in advance Posted by xoben on Mar. 30 2007,22:06
Please uninstall UltraISO first, restart Windows, then re-setup UltraISO and try again.

By any chance, are you running Vista x64? If so, I reported a similar problem here nearly two months ago: < Shell Integration Under Vista x64 RTM > It was posted in the Bug forum. This is a known problem that appears to involve the enhanced security features of Vista x64. Hopefully, xoben considers this serious enough to put high on his priority list. Hello MrCoolBreeze, we did test latest version UltraISO V8.61 under Vista x64, but no problem with shell extension was found.

Yes, but did you do the test under Vista x64 as a standard user? V8.61 works perfectly if you are logged on as Administrator, or if your account has admin privileges. But that's not the issue here. People who are serious about security issues will use Vista x64 for its enhanced security features and use a standard user account for everyday work. As I mentioned in my other post, you must log on as a standard user for the problems I mentioned to occur! MrCB Posted by xoben on Apr. 07 2007,21:39
Thank you MrCoolBreeze for your information.
