Forum: UltraISO Topic: Mount to Virtual Drive problem? started by: bryces Posted by bryces on Oct. 02 2007,18:02
Hi,I'm using UltraIso Premium Edition 8.6.3.2056. Is there a way to force the drive letter that UltraIso tries to use when mounting to a virtual drive. The drop down list only has one entry. Currently it only lists drive J which, on this networked machine, is mapped to a particular server. If I try to mount to it then it doesn't work. It is not an option to remove or change this mapping as too many scripts and workspaces refer to this drive. Free drive letters are: L, O, Q, R, S, T, U and X. It needs to use one of these letters, or more than one of them if I want more than one drive mounted at once. Any ideas? Regards, Bryce S. Posted by xoben on Oct. 02 2007,22:41
Please read < http://forum.ezbsystems.net/cgi-bin/ikonboard.cgi?act=ST;f=2;t=1736 > for how to change drive letter of ISODrive via command-line.

Thanks 'xoben'. Just what I was after. I don't have time to try it right now as off work for two weeks, but will check it out when I get back.Regards, Bryce. Posted by bryces on Oct. 14 2007,17:44
Further to my previous email, I did run the isocmd and eventually got the right drive letters. At first I could not get it to let go of drive J: , even with a reboot. But by using the gui under options -> configuration -> virtual drive and changing the number of devices (several times) while running isocmd in between changes I was able to get the two drive letters I wanted. Thanks for your help.
