I am new at working with ISO files and I need to Update the BIOS on my ThinkPad Notebook PC. I am nervous about burning this BIOs Update CD correctly.... So far, I have Downloaded from my vendor's (Lenovo) site, the correct BIOS Update for my PC, which they have listed as "BIOS Update (ISO Image File - for Bootable CD)". 1) ... Now that I have Downloaded their "ISO File for BIOS Update", please list for me the Specific Steps that I will need to do in UltraISO, to properly Burn the Downloaded "BIOS Update - ISO File" to a "Bootable - BIOS Update CD". 2) P.S. ... Also, based on your experience, Is it better to Burn to a a CD or CD-RW, when burning a Bootable ISO - BIOS Update CD ? Thanks! ... Joe Posted by xoben on Oct. 31 2009,08:14
Just open the ISO file with UltraISO and press F7 to burn a bootable CD/DVD.
