In another topic I mentioned a suggestion of adding a few more mount options. Here I'd like to suggest a few more:

Under the right-click context menu selection have two lists of 'mount options':

- mount read-only to drive [drive]
- mount read-only to drive [drive] & autorun
- mount read-only to drive [drive] & explore

- mount read-write to drive [drive]
- mount read-write to drive [drive] & autorun
- mount read-write to drive [drive] & explore

Here my suggestion includes the further suggestion of being able to mount (perhaps this might only be possible for some image formats, eg .iso and .isz?) images optionally as read-only or read-write. I think it would aid functionality to extend the menu options as well as be able to mount images as read-write. However, I don't know if the isodrive driver supports writing yet?

Anyway, thanks for considering.

Regards,
Galapo.

Sorry, writing to ISODrive is not supported.

Hi xoben,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I'm aware that currently mounted images cannot be written to. I did not if the isodrive driver could support this or not or that such a feature would need to be written.

Hence I guess my use of 'yet?' was more of a 'hopeful' wish...

I do think being able to optionally mount images as read-write would extend the functionality of the software in a useful direction.

Thanks again for your software, I use it most days.

Regards,
Galapo.
