I am putting all my games onto one dvd and haven't had any problems using method 1&2 until now. The game is call of duty, it will install half way but then asks for cd 2, wont go any further.

The first method should work: mount CD1 and install, then mount CD2 to the same vritual drive when asked for the second one, ...
