Every time I save an image of DELL XP Home edition CD I get a CDBOOT error even with the latest version of UltraISO. At first I used 8.0 but then downloaded the latest version. I am running Windows 2000 on this computer. Cdrom is TSSCorp DVD Writer that recently was updated with the latest firmware.
These are screenshots running Virtual Machine and the same thing occurs on live pc.
The image mounted and created with UltraISO is this; http://udxhome.sitesled.com/ultraiso/UltraISO-DELL.jpg
The image mounted and created with Nero gets me this (it works) http://udxhome.sitesled.com/ultraiso/NERO-DELL.jpg
Is there a way to overcome this?

Let's suppose that you have a Dell XP Home Edition Reinstallation CD. In this case it was a CD that I think was made with some sort of a burning tool on a dell inspiron notebook.
The CD itself works fine and when you insert it in your machine upon boot you will get a prompt that says "press any key to boot from CD or DVD".
Let's suppose you want to backup the CD. I use UltraISO to backup and burn the CD without editing it. I burn the image with nero and I reboot. The CD that is now burned and inside the CD-Rom upon booting gives a message "CDBOOT can't find NTLDR" as shown in picture above.
I do the same thing with NERO Save Tracks option to ISO and then burn it, and voila I get the same result as in original CD. I reboot my machine and I get a message "press any key to boot from CD or DVD".
My question is what is UltraISO doing wrong? Any other CD (XP PRO DELL, Windows 2000, etc etc, works fine).

Hello xoben;
I have to admit that I have been using File > Open CD / DVD. Then do File > Save As.
That might have been the culprit all along.

Thank you UDX for your feedback.
We would like to do detailed checking for this problem. If possible, please use 'Tools'->'Make CD/DVD image' to get an ISO file and uploaded it to our FTP server (check your PM for detailed information).

Hello xoben.
When using Tools > Make CD DVD Image it works fine.
When I use File Open CD DVD and then do save as ISO then it doesn't work.
Should I still upload the image where I used File > Open CD DVD > Save As?

Ok the image should have been uploaded overnight. It contains 5 Rar files that I used for convenience (so I don't have to reupload the whole thing).
