Good Day,
Please help.....
OS: Win XP SP2
UltraISO 8.6.5.2140
I installed UltraISO logged in as Administrator and it works OK in the Administrator account.....
But when tried to use it from another user account (my daughter's), it again asked for the registration details (which I entered again & was accepted OK).....
Then when I tried to change the Configuration, it seemed to accept the changes....,
..but when I restart UltraISO it doesnt remember the config changes.....
Also doesnt remember the UltraISO window position or size....
In other words when trying to use UltraISO (in her account) it always reverts to Default settings & Default window size & position....
Greatly Appreciate your Help & Assistance,

Hello roberta, at present UltraISO keeps settings for single user only. It will be improved at future versions in this issue.

I have found a workaround for this problem/"feature":
I installed UltraISO from the Administrator account....
..then also installed it from her user account (which has admin rights)....
...and it seems to be working OK (& remembering all settings, including window size & position)....
What is your opinion about this workaround?
Do You foresee any problems?
Btw, I own several licences for all three EZB products (EasyBoot, UltraISO & SoftDisc)....,
..& the ability to change settings (& window size + position) in different user accounts...,
...Are Very Important & Essential capabilities in current Windows OSs (at least since Windows XP)....
These capabilities have been a standard feature of virtually all other utilities & application software for many years now....
Please ensure that these capabilities are introduced as soon as practicable for all your products....

What about to store settings in an appropriate .ini file? Just to make the application portable (even if it will run in a different manner, without all features).
Recently ther's the tendence to make applications portable mainly to avoid access to the registry, which is a really good thing IMHO.

AGREED! I hate the registry. Storing settings in an ini or xml file would make my life much easier.
